Within your website platform you can ask your supporters to submit their reason for donating and then attach these donation reasons to payment data shared into Access Charity CRM.
To do this, you will need to add all the donation reasons from your website platform as SourceCodes in Charity CRM.

Within the Manager click Settings, then Donation Reasons.
Click List.
In Charity CRM, click Finance, then Admin.
Click Source Codes and add the donation reasons as SourceCodes.
Click New and enter a unique source and description in the Description panel.
Do not click Save yet.
Before finishing, access the Web Control panel.
If this panel is not visible click on the three dot menu on the right-hand side to find it.
In the Web Control panel, under Description enter the exact text of the donation reason you are adding.
Click Save.
You will need to repeat this for all the donation reasons on your platform.
π Note: All donations pushed into Access Charity CRM as payments will now have this code as their source. If a member does not select a donation reason, or the reason has not been added as a SourceCode in Access Charity CRM, the source of donations will default to JOYFUPLATFORM in Access Charity CRM.
Override donation reasons
Sometimes you may wish to override your donation reasons as they send to Access Charity CRM, such as an appeal that shares a common source.
To override donation reasons, follow the steps below:
Select the appeal you wish to override.
Click Charity CRM source & destination codes.
Select a Source code and Destination Code to override.
Click Update.
These codes will now come through automatically for any donation made to this appeal. Likewise, you can cancel an override by unselecting a code and updating the appeal again.
