Link appeal payments to Access Charity CRM

This article explains how payments sent from Access Raise to Charity CRM can link to existing destination codes.

You can link donation data into Access Charity CRM and connect it to the relevant appeal by setting a unique code for the appeal in your platform.

⚠️ Important: Every appeal should have its own code set up when the appeal is created. To match the character limit within Access Charity CRM, the code cannot be more than 20 characters long.

If this code does not match an existing DestinationCode in CRM, you will need to create it by following the steps below:

  1. Log into your Access Charity CRM application.

  2. Click Finance, then Admin.

  3. Click Destination Codes, then click New at the top of the window.

  4. Enter a value in the Destination field which matches the appeal's unique code.

    • To make the most of the data, use a meaningful description.

  5. Click Save to finish creating the record.


All donations made to this appeal will now be pushed into CRM using the code from your website platform as their destination.


If an appeal has not been mapped to a DestinationCode in CRM, the default destination of the payment will be JOYFULPLATFORM.
