What's new
We're thrilled to introduce the new Raise-Donorfy integration, a powerful connection that transforms how your charity manages supporter data. This update also gives you more control over how your category pages are presented, along with a quicker way to preview your changes from the admin bar.
Raise-Donorfy integration: automatically sync donations, shop purchases and event bookings from your website into Donorfy.
Manual ordering of category posts: choose the exact order posts appear in, rather than relying on automatic ordering.
Quicker content refresh: refresh your page content without losing your place in the admin bar.
Keep your supporter data in sync with the Raise-Donorfy integration
Every donation, shop purchase and event booking made through your website can now flow automatically into Donorfy, giving you a complete, up-to-date view of each supporter without any manual data entry.
Setup is entirely self-service and involves two quick steps: turn on the integration under Integration > Donorfy in your Raise menu, then head to your Donorfy system and enable the corresponding Raise integration settings there.
Once both sides are switched on, there's also a test mode, so you can validate everything before any data reaches your live Donorfy database.
Constituents are automatically matched or created as needed, and Appeals are linked to your Donorfy campaigns by name. Both systems provide detailed logs with direct links to the relevant records, so you always know what's happened with your data.
For full details on setting up and using the Raise-Donorfy integration, see Setting up the Raise-Donorfy integration.
đ Note: This integration requires active subscriptions to both Raise and Donorfy.
Take control of post ordering within categories
You can now switch on manual ordering for the posts assigned to a category, giving you full control over exactly how they're arranged, rather than relying on automatic ordering by publish date or the general settings.
To use this, open the category you want to edit in the Manager. You'll find a collapsible Manual ordering panel, where you can turn on the Manual ordering toggle. Once switched on, you can drag posts into your preferred order.
You can filter which posts you're ordering using the tabs at the top of the panel: All, Pages, Events, Appeals, Blog, News and FAQs. Each tab shows you how many posts are in that view, and your ordering choices are remembered separately for each one. So you could, for example, set a custom order for your Appeals while leaving your News posts on automatic ordering.
Posts are shown 12 at a time, with a Load more button if you have more to order. Once you're happy with the arrangement, click Update on the category to save your changes: the new order is saved at the same time as the rest of your category details.
If you only reorder some of your posts, anything you haven't moved will keep its position based on publish date. This means you can nudge a handful of posts to the top without needing to manually place every single post in the list.
Once saved, your chosen order is reflected on your live site: any posts you've manually positioned will appear in that order, with any remaining posts continuing to display by publish date, newest first.
đ Note: In the Manager, the manual ordering section for Appeals displays all Appeals, including individual fundraiser pages. On your live site, applying manual ordering adds a new tab called All Appeals to your Appeals category page, and your manual order is applied only within this tab. Your existing Current Appeals and Fundraisers page is unaffected and will continue to display as it does today.
Refresh your page content instantly from the admin bar
You can now refresh the content of the page you're viewing directly from the admin bar, without needing to reload the whole browser tab. Simply click Refresh and your page content will update in place, while the admin bar stays exactly where it is.
This is handy when you've made changes elsewhere (for example, in the Manager) and want to quickly check how they look on the live page.
While refreshing, the button will show "Refreshing..." so you know your request is being processed.
đ Note: This button is only visible to signed-in users with access to the Manager (such as site administrators and content editors). It is not shown to public visitors to your site.
