Image resolution

Follow these steps to edit the image resolution for banners, homepage, internal pages and listing pages.

Written by Cristiana Ghinea

Multiple settings within the manager control the image resolution of different website areas.

⚠️ Important: Please be careful when changing any of these as they affect several website elements.

Homepage banner dimensions

To find and edit homepage banner dimensions:

  1. Click Settings, then Set Up.

  2. Click General, then Homepage banner image width or height.

These dimensions apply only to the homepage carousel.

Right below these, you can find the resolution setting for internal page image banners. This will apply to all individual posts.

It's important to upload banner images that have an aspect ratio as close as possible to the one set here so they look consistent throughout the website

Donation amount image resolution

This can be set from the Set up menu under the Donations tab.

This resolution will apply to any images added against donation amounts. You can see them on the donation page of any appeal, which will be in the following format: https://www.yourdomainname/donate/appeal-name.

As these take way less space on a page than a banner the resolution should also be lower.

Home box dimensions

These can be set under the Homepage tab in Set up. You have the option to set specific values for each home box.

Other areas

Images from other areas such as listing pages, the shop and sidebars can be controlled from the Shared Layout tab.

Finally, any images added to a homepage feed can be set up from the Homepage Feeds tab in Set Up.
