Written by Cristiana Ghinea

By default the platform orders listing pages from oldest to newest.

Change the order

It is possible to change this by following these steps:

  1. In the Manager go to Settings and click Set-Up.

  2. Click Listings.

  3. For feeds on your homepage, click Homepage Feeds.

  4. Locate the type of Listing Page you are interested in the list.

    • For example, if you want to edit the order of an events listing page look for the criteria set for Event.

  5. Choose one of the Order By and Sort Order options from the drop downs.

  6. Click Update Settings.

Order by options

The options for Order By will vary by module.

Below is a list of options:

Option

Description

Published Date

The 'Publish from' date on your posts.

Title

Created Date

The date the post was created.

Edited Date

The date the post was last updated.

Organise Appeal Order

For Appeals and Fundraiser listings only. Alphabetically by the parent appeal.

Read Count

This only updates for unique visitors, so if the same person visits a page several time, the read count will only go up by 1.

Start Date

For Events listings only.

End Date

For Events listings only.

A to Z

For Product listings only.

Latest Additions

For Product listings only.

Top Sellers

For Product listings only.

Price

For Product listings only.

πŸ“Œ Note: These criteria will affect all listing pages for a module.

If you want to manipulate the order of a specific listing only, the easiest way to do this is by Publish Date because this will sort them in the order of Publish From date on the posts and you are able to edit this simply on any kind of post to achieve the order you want.

So long as the date entered is in the past changing the Publish From date will not affect the post itself.
