Websites will be scanned for cookies when the Termly cookies service is first set up, and then on a weekly basis.
Cookies will be automatically categorised where possible. If we’re unable to categorise them they will be added to an ‘unclassified’ list, which will require the website admin to check and categorise accordingly.
To do this you will need to check the website where the cookie has come from (these cookies should be listed in your website platform according to which technology they belong to). Most organisations should have a cookie policy on their website that defines what their cookies are. It is usually enough for you to copy the description provided from there and categorise accordingly.
