Google search results wrong for my website

Follow the guidance in this article to get Google to recrawl your website if the Google search results for your website show links to old pages.

Written by Cristiana Ghinea

If you find that a Google search is showing you old information, this is not because of your platform. Google saves previous site data to make browsing and searching quicker and more efficient.

You can request that they recrawl your URLs and this will make it look for the current URLs and meta data and update the search results they return.

πŸ€“ Tip: We recommend using the sitemap option.

Go to Google Webmaster tools to submit your sitemap. It will be in the format https://www.yourwebsite/sitemap.xml.

Use this tool If you want to remove specific URLs to be removed from Google search results.

πŸ“Œ Note: The recrawl process can take a few days to a few weeks.
