If you find that a Google search is showing you old information, this is not because of your platform. Google saves previous site data to make browsing and searching quicker and more efficient.
You can request that they recrawl your URLs and this will make it look for the current URLs and meta data and update the search results they return.

Go to Google Webmaster tools to submit your sitemap. It will be in the format https://www.yourwebsite/sitemap.xml.
