When you first get access to your website, it will include sample content. Sample content are example posts from each of the content modules (eg. News, Events, Pages) which we add to your site.
These allow you to see the designs for the different kinds of posts on your website before you start creating content yourself. Some of these feature Latin.
All items on your site which are seen as sample content include a category called Sample Content.
If you want to permanently remove any content you have added to your site during your site build phase, or at a later date you can apply the category to it and it will also be removed along with the other sample content.
Add the Sample Content category to a post
To add the category to a post:
Open the post.
Select Sample Content in the Categories dropdown menu.
Click the Update button.
Add the Sample Content category to an item in the Media Centre
Hover over Manage and click through to the Tools module.
Click Media Centre in the menu on the left hand side.
This will open up the Media Centre in a new window.
Select the image you'd like to add the Sample Content category to.
Click the Categories tab on the right hand side of the window.
Select the Sample Content category from the Select a category dropdown menu to apply the category to the image.
📌 Note: Reach out to us via the Digital Assistant, request to speak to an agent and we will run a script which removes all content that includes the Sample content category.
Removing categories
If you've created categories which you'd like to be removed let us know and we'll be able to mark these as Sample Content as well.
📌 Note: This will remove the category only and not the posts associated with that category. If you want the posts to be removed as well please give them the Sample Content category as described above.
