Categories let you choose which particular posts you want to appear on listing pages on your website.
The content you add to a category, whether in the WYSIWYG editor or image/video banners, will appear at the top of any listing page you apply it to as the category filter.
To create a category:
Select the Settings module in the Manager.
Click Create under Categories in the side menu.
Add a name for your new category in the Category Name field.
This will automatically generate a URL for your category in the URL field. You can change it by typing your desired URL in the URL field.
Make sure the Active box is selected if you want the category to be visible in the categories list in the Manager.
To add an image banner, click on the Image banner window to open the Media Centre.
Once you have chosen your image click Set as banner.
You can add any additional content you want to include in the WYSIWYG editor.
Click Create.
