Often, if you copy and paste content from another website or a Word document, the content transfers the original formatting too.
This can explain formatting issues you may see with your content such as double spacing and colour errors.
There are two ways to remedy this: using the Paste as text button or the Clear formatting button in the WYSIWYG editor.
Using the Paste as text button
Once you've copied or cut content from another website or a Word document and prior to pasting it into the WYSIWYG editor make sure you click the Past as text.
This will enable you to paste your content in as plain text and without the formatting. You will then be able to format the content yourself using the WYSIWYG editor.
Using the Clear formatting button
If you have already copied your content into the WYSIWYG editor and you would like to clear the formatting simply highlight the content and click the Clear formatting button.
You will then be able to format the content yourself using the WYSIWYG editor.
