Edit your header or footer
The easiest way to update your website header or footer is to use the Edit a post dropdown menu in the top-left corner of the website.
This dropdown is only visible to users who are logged in.
Selecting an element from the dropdown will highlight the section you are about to edit.
Before making changes
Before editing any snippet, we strongly recommend taking a backup of the existing source code in case anything goes wrong.
To do this:
Click the <> icon in the editor toolbar to view the source code.
Copy and save the entire code somewhere safe.
You can then restore the original code if necessary.
