Find the colour of a specific entity

Learn how to identify a colour on your website.

Written by Cristiana Ghinea

You can find the colour of a specific entity on your website using the Inspect or Inspect Element function built into most web browsers.

To do this:

  1. Right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect or Inspect Element, depending on your browser.

    • This will open the browser's developer tools.

  2. Select the element selector tool, which is typically located at the top-left of the developer tools panel.

  3. Use the selector to highlight the entity on the webpage.

  4. The developer tools will display information about the selected element, including its text and background colours.

This can be useful when you need to identify the exact colour values being used for a particular element on your website.
